The Goodman Method

Members of my immediate family have benefited from his treatments for various skeletal back and neck problems which have occurred over the years including sports injuries and various other traumas. The results of his NUCCA technique for relieving pain and discomfort permit long-term healing and resumption of normal alignment which has become the answer to many orthopedic complaints. After three treatments, the mobility of my neck is better, I am sleeping more restful, and the amount of discomfort is drastically reduced. Also, multiple otolaryngologists have diagnosed me with Meniere's, a disease that causes unilateral hearing loss and dizziness. These professionals told me that there are very few treatment options that provide relief. Those hopes and dreams were put to an end during a football practice in late September 2010. I gained a concussion and it resulted in the hardest and most frustrating time in my life. After about a month of trying to let the concussion resolve itself, it was determined that it was more serious then was initially thought. At that point, I was sent to a concussion specialist who diagnosed me with Post Concussion Syndrome which consisted of headaches, blurred vision, dizziness and tunnel vision. I was removed from school for almost three quarters of my eighth grade year. I received all of my schoolwork and was told to complete what I could, even though I could only work for approximately twenty minutes until the symptoms would become so overwhelming that it would require about two hours to recover from the strain that the work put on my brain. I returned back to school during the fourth and final marking period, but was limited to half days. I frequently saw a Neurologist who prescribed four different medications which didn't resolve the headaches completely. I got so frustrated because all I wanted was to return to being a normal kid who could return to school and learn without having to teach myself. Close to the end of the school year, before summer break, I returned to full days at school, even though the headache had only eased a small amount. The headache continued throughout the summer o 2011 and into my ninth grade school year but there were still more bad days then good days. At about the two year mark with the concussion symptoms continuing, my mother got in contact with a woman whose daughter had similar headache issues. She told my mother about Dr. Goodman and that he helped her daughter get over her issues. My parents and I agreed that anything that might help was worth a shot. So we traveled two hours to see if Dr. Goodman could help. The treatment was absolutely amazing. With tears in my eyes, and as if it was a miracle, I walked out of the doctor's office with the first pain-free feeling that I had had in almost two years. This, without a doubt, was one of the happiest days of my life. I am very happy to say that I have been headache free since November 2012, and have never felt better. Dr. Goodman is the nicest and most caring doctor that I have ever met. He takes the time to make sure that his patients get the absolute best treatment. I tried physical therapy but the pain always returned. Traditional chiropractic manipulation would leave me sore for days afterwards and quite frankly, it scared me to have my neck twisted manually. I tried massage, exercises, heat, ice, and changing pillows many times...and the pain began to radiate into my sinuses as I got older, particularly concentrating in the left side of my face. When I went to see Dr. Goodman, I was skeptical but hopeful. And to my amazement, after one treatment, my pain left me. I started crying in his office because I could hardly believe it. The next day I felt tired but woke up without pain---no facial pain, no sinus pain, no neck pain. The adjustment held. I am extremely grateful and thankful for Dr. Goodman and his expertise---and also his generous, supportive manner in the office. I will see him for a follow-up and know he is there if i need him---but I am truly pain free for the first time in years. Do not hesitate to visit him."

I had to shop around for a chiropractor. Unable to find the two that I knew of in the past, I took a chance with Dr. Goodman. His equipment was a little intimidating to see but he relieved my pain in just one visit.

My story is simple: one month ago a few toes on my left foot went numb. In three weeks’ time, the numbness had spread to everywhere from my stomach down to my feet. In the early 1980's I started having problems with lower back pain. It increased in severity until I had to miss work. One time my wife came home and found me on the floor of the family room doubled over in pain. After many tests, including x-rays, cat scans, MRI's and visits to specialists, I was told that they could not find the problem and I would just have to live with it. A friend told me about Dr. Goodman. I was skeptical when told that he only did treatments to the head and neck, but I was ready to try anything. When he made the adjustment I had immediate relief and realized he had finally found the problem.
